Mummettes...wardrobe malfunction?
Just wondering what all you mummettes generally wear to the concert's. I have been to one where I wore a nice sweater and jeans and oh boy was I OVER dressed. What do you all suggest?

As little as possible. I usually opt for a nice tight (i.e. makes the ass look great) pair of jeans, capris, etc (depends on weather), and then something low cut. If you got them, show the cleavage. It's what mummettes are known for.

lol...alrighty then...and that is exactly what I saw when I went to the first concert. Although those woman didn't care that it was a bit chilly as they stood out in the cold for an 90 minutes..but I guess I will follow their example.

The mamm sisters really hate the cold. Maybe the store should sell boob muffs?

I thought you just said you'd be at IL not IN. I'm going to be at IN. I have tickets for Jeff Dunham the night of IL show.

I try to accent my best features. So my smallest shorts, mini-skirts...whatever shows off my legs and butt. Frankly you could wear nothing and you'd be a hit!

Reino, that was just coooold.

Consider...

Cleavage. (yes)
Boob warmers. (yes, yes)
Boob warmers...with tassels! (oh yes)
MORE cleavage. (uh huh)
Mini skirts. Or nothing at all. (look out)

And then,.....'jeans and a t-shirt'.

I also throw on a layer of awkward giddiness. Oh, wait, not better!

And my T is usually a homemade fan grrrrl shirt. That’s gotta count for somethin’!

Red, just wear whatever the heck ya want to! (Nothin' wrong with a nice sweater!:) Whatever helps you have the very most fun possible!

(High heels don’t sound fun to me… Sounds like hurt.)

Reino, I agree...I just wear whatever's comfy...less hassle. I feel sexiest barefoot anyway...so all the hype about cleavage etc. just isn't my style...

I try to combine comfort and style when possible. Since I'm most likely going to be in said outfit all day, traveling in it, standing out in the weather in it and then dancing my ass off in it, I want something that isn't going to be a pain in the ass to wear. Not always possible but most of the time I can coordinate to accommodate. I'm not sure how the girls wear the tiny heels for any length of time...perhaps it's a youth thing lol. I usually wear comfy shoes at least. Most places, like the Bird, no one is going to be able to even see your feet anyway ;-)

It really depends my mood what I wear to a show. Last year I wore a lot of dresses. This year been a mixture of nice shirts, leggings and jeans. I do enjoy looking nice and getting dressed up.

First of all, Red, you look young enough to pull off any of the mentioned outfits with class and style.
I would, however, caution against Phunky's recommendation of 'nothing at all'. . . .

Above all be comfy. If you have comfy dressy shoes, go for it.
But remember you'll be jumping around in those shoes for 2 solid hours.

My go-to outfit would be dressy jeans and a sparkly, trendy top,
or dressy jeans and an HCTM t-shirt.

And at my age, I show as little boobage as possible, out of consideration for others.

funny shit guys, thanks for all the suggestions..luv it...I have deduced that it is not unusual for woman to wear the gamut of outfits, based on how one feels or how one wants to be "feeled" up, hehe. I think I am leaning toward some clubwear outfit and will stray away from the "nothing at all" suggestion...sorry :(, to cold for just the birthday suit. Although, I am not sure the clubwear outfit will go well with comfy shoes.....ah shit, back to square.....~Red :)

The Freak Flag shirt is also awesome-- very soft, and I love the muted colors.

All the ladies shirts do tend to run small, though, so order up a size or two.

They run pretty small. . . .

I was hoping to wear another shirt underneath, but that is NOT happening.

I do, however, LOVE IT! Even if I can't wear it to a show, it's gonna be my favorite tank when summer comes!
It is SO adorable! Mine is grey with pink--- did you two get the same color, or something different?

Mine is tan. Plenty of room. I'm kinda iffy on no sleeves. Maybe if I get some sun. I love the imprinted design. The girls wear mummette proudly.

I believe Java said they were sold out completely now.

On the "Wanted Apparel" thread, I had asked them to bring them back, and Java said he thought they had a few left, and then kindly did a search for us. A lucky few of us got these adorable "leftovers" because---- why?

Because Java is just AWESOME!!!

Um, anybody else having trouble with repetition of the first few words in each new post?
It's like the title when we start a new thread.

Yes, it repeats the first five words or so.

Java knows how to keep peeps smilin'. I love that in a mummy.

I will probably have this as my sleep shirt on hot summer nights.

Here's a suggestion for your first show. Wear Jeans, really comfortable shoes (really, trust me on this one), and a top you can fold up and store in a jacket pocket, etc. When you arrive, find the merch table and buy something that looks good and fits your budget. Go into the ladies room and put it on.

Now, after the show, you're ready to have your top signed wherever you feel comfortable. You can even have the Mummies name your boobies, shoulders or waist. The sky is the limit!!

Edit: The guys will be just as nasty or nice as you like them to be. They really will take your lead for autographs, pics, etc
